For more than a decade, Vallejo, California-based Sinaloense fotógrafa Rocio Rivera has been an award-winning professional photographer. After establishing herself as a professional photographer in the U.S. she moved back to the motherland to Mexico to continue her work there — a dream she's always had for herself.

Many people are saying that the new American dream for children of immigrant parents is to return to the motherland and live a better-quality life.
