D. B. Cooperhas never been identified even though he hijacked a Boeing 727 aircraft in United States airspace on November 24, 1971. During a flight from Portland, Oregon, to Seattle, Washington, Cooper told a flight attendant he had a bomb, demanded $200,000 cash and four parachutes upon landing in Seattle.
Somewhere south of Seattle D.B. opened the escape hatch and parachuted into the black of night. Cooper's whereabouts have never been found.
